rambling

since stacey is getting after me about blogging, i thought i would post something on this site. since it is a little lonely.

the problem is that all my pictures are on the downstairs computer, and i am upstairs. i was waiting up for tom and family, but i think that they are running a little bit late. one problem with having your computer for your phone is that you can't shut it off in case somebody needs to call. we have a cell phone for that purpose. i just need to email the number for everyone. isaac is sleeping horribly lately. he has no sign of teeth yet, but i have a feeling that they are sneaking up on me. argg...

i am staring at susie's quilt in my living room. it is getting close to being finished, but i just need to push myself to do it. doug would appreciate me doing that. it doesn't match my decor.

let's see what else i have to talk about...

mallory didn't get a kitty this easter...i thought about letting her get one, (sorry a real one not a stuffed one) but i think i am going to chicken out again. but she would be soo cute with a cat. hmmm.... i will think about it. i don't know if i want to take care of another living thing.

mallory's potty training is stalled for the moment. i cleaned house today and didn't want to be bothered with worrying when she needs to go. and i didn't want my house to smell like pee when company came over.

if i have her go every two hours or so, she doesn't have any accidents... but as far as telling us she needs to go.,...no luck. maybe i will try having her sign it. that might be novel enough. i don't think she is confident (as in she is shy and doesn't want to mess up what she is supposed to be saying) enough to tell us, though i don't think she has any idea when she needs to go. so i think in a couple of days, we will start again with the no diaper and running around with out any pants.

and stop again if shows no sign of improvement.

we'll see.

now i think i will read a book...or browse some craft blogs. i had a friend once who called craft stores eye candy. it looks so good and you think that you can do it, but you really can't. and it takes a lot of your time and money.
