Last night while reading the story about the crucifixion in the children's New Testament reader, Rachel asked, "How did the soldiers put the crown of thorns on Jesus' head without poking themselves?"
I responded, "How do you think they did it?" (My typical response...)
Rachel said, "I have no idea. We could find the answer on the internet."
I laughed so hard and blew the reverence of the moment...
Whenever she asks a question that I don't know the answer to, I always tell her we could check the internet. Guess she listens...

Welcome Dang Ying
I posted about little Tian An on my personal blog. I'll post about Dang Ying on this blog. I'm excited to sponsor Dang Ying, but still sad about Tian An. Doesn't Dang Ying look like she would be good friends with Rachel? Rachel is about a year younger. Dang Ying looks like she is full of spunk like Rachel. I hope we can meet her someday. She is in BeiJing. We will travel to China in the future and we'll visit her for sure. Who nows? Maybe she will be adopted before then? I hope so!

speaking of being addicted...
Mallory keeps saying "I need to check my email" and then walking over to the computer and playing with the mouse.

video for Christmas
Here is the video for Mom/Dad for Christmas. It is 35 minutes long so watch it when you are bored and have a big chunk of time to kill. I wasn't planning on making copies for us, but if you really want a copy, let me know. It is kind of boring. It is mostly video from summer.

testing video
Video takes a longggg time to upload. Yahoo 360 is faster with video, but you have to put it into google first so I guess it is about the same in the long run. Or maybe I can just put Google videos here? I'll try that next:
Thoughts About Food

This is a test to see if I can really do this...
These are quotes hanging in the school cafeteria:
Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what's for lunch. --Orson Welles (I never knew his last name has an extra "e")
Food is an important part of a balanced diet.
--Fran Lebowitz

Never eat more than you can lift.
--Miss Piggy
