Our Fabulous Christmas

  • Scott wrote a great note to Santa Christmas Eve to go with the milk and cookies. I went to take a picture of it and was informed that it has been destroyed. :(

  • It was so much fun to hear from Grandma and Grandpa. And it was a special treat to have Bill and Sasha and Tom and Carma here Christmas morning. The pirate ship Bill and Sasha gave to Eli has been a huge hit!
  • One of Laura's favorite parts of Christmas was the candy cane in her stocking.

  • We got several games for Christmas and the kids have enjoyed playing them the last few days. We might be about gamed out! They also got lots of Hotwheels stuff that has been keeping them busy.

  • The snow has been amazing. We probably have the most snow we have had since living in this house. Ted has been letting Scott run the snow sweeper. He likes to clean the driveway and sidewalk now. We had a great time sledding the day after Christmas at Freeman Park. Scott and Conner are quite a sledding pair! Laura even went down the hill a few times and liked it.

We 've enjoyed having Ted's undivided attention. He is working on my bathroom this morning. The hose on the back of the toliet has been dripping onto the floor into a bucket for a few weeks :) And one thing always leads to another, so he is painting while he is at it. It isn't work on my kitchen but it still needs done. We are gearing up for another push until spring break. Baseball camps, practice, and tournaments in Boise will start full force here pretty quick. It is looking like Ted's second job (the one with health insurance) might actually end in the middle of January. We'll see.
